Sometimes spending two hours down here in this blood rat's maze of an office is too much. At least the rat's maze up there has real sunshine, you know? And you can get things done, instead of waiting around on someone else to do their bit while you read the paper. And read the paper again.
But after the week I've had, I'm ready to spend a couple days working on my sitting-and-waiting. I wrapped a case on Tuesday that I was pretty sure would kill me first, someone above my apartment left their sink on all night, or something, and having my hopes up for Saturday's game is seriously giving me indigestion. And then there's whatever's wrong with Ginny and Hermio
So if anyone needs me, I'll be hiding down here at my desk.

I slept til two o'clock this afternoon. I think I should get some kind of award. I mean, I've done better, obviously, but not recently.
I figure I'll wait until four or so to have the celebratory pint, because what would Mum say, you know. But anyone who wants to tag along around then is more than welcome to come. Looking at the duty board at work, I don't think this is one of those occasions that's going to come around all that often.
